Valley Elementary wants all of its students to see themselves as leaders in their grade-level roles by the end of the term. The "Valley Vikings" and their families were recently in the news for breaking records by taking part in the Million Fathers March to support student engagement. Staff members are also working together to make sure that all students meet or exceed their reading and math growth goals by June 2026.
Q1. What are the colors and official mascot of Valley Elementary School?
Ans. Every Friday, students wear blue and white for spirit day events, and the Viking is the school's mascot.
Q2: Does Valley Elementary School serve hot breakfast to students who get there early?
Ans. The cafeteria opens every day thirty minutes before the first bell so that students can eat healthy breakfasts.
Q3: How does Valley Elementary School let parents know about weekly updates and reminders?
Ans. The principal sends out a digital newsletter and uses the district app to let people know about important dates and news.
Q4. Does Valley Elementary School have any special programs to help students with their schoolwork?
Ans. Teachers who are experts in reading and math help students who need extra help in small groups.
Q5. Is there a "quiet zone" at Valley Elementary School for kids to use during recess?
Ans. Students who like to read or draw in a quiet indoor space can use the library.
