Families at Evergreen Elementary are looking forward to the 2026 Father/Daughter Dance that the community club is putting on to help with social and emotional health. The school recently sent out its February/March Family Newsletter, which has new information about events happening on campus in the near future. The administration is also reminding parents that the district's open enrollment period for the next school year ended at the end of December.
Q1. How should a parent report a student absence at Evergreen Elementary?
Ans. Absences can be reported by calling the office or emailing both the front office and the student's teacher directly.
Q2. What is the policy for dropping off a forgotten lunch at Evergreen Elementary?
Ans. Student lunches should be dropped off at the office no later than fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled lunchtime.
Q3. Are there any opportunities for parents to work as paid staff at Evergreen Elementary?
Ans. The school occasionally has openings for paid yard supervisors to monitor students during the daily lunch and recess periods.
Q4. Does Evergreen Elementary provide free meals to all of its enrolled students?
Ans. Complete breakfast and lunch meals are provided free of charge to all students regardless of their family income level.
Q5. Where are students permitted to eat lunch if they bring it from home to Evergreen Elementary?
Ans. Students with home lunches may eat at the outdoor picnic tables or inside the designated "Eagle’s Nest" area.
