On February 20, 2026, Elkhorn Village Elementary School reached a major construction milestone as part of its ongoing project to modernize the campus. Students are currently going to classes at the temporary Clarendon Campus, which is being renovated. They get there by bus every day. The district just said that the school, which has been completely updated, will officially reopen in January 2027.
Q1. Do all students at Elkhorn Village Elementary have to wear the school uniform?
Ans. Students don't have to wear uniforms at this campus right now, but they still have to follow the dress code rules for the whole district.
Q2. Can you wear flip-flops or sandals to Elkhorn Village Elementary?
Ans. No, students must always wear shoes with closed toes to stay safe while playing on the playground and in the classroom.
Q3. Can students wear pajamas to school at Elkhorn Village Elementary?
Ans. Pajamas are not allowed except on certain school spirit days that the school administration has approved.
Q4. Where do Elkhorn Village Elementary students go to school right now while the campus is being renovated?
Ans. The students are staying at the Clarendon Campus for the time being while the main site is being modernized and built.
Q5. When is the modernized Elkhorn Village Elementary campus going to officially open again?
Ans. The district hopes that the renovation will be done by 2027, when the school will reopen at its main site.
