Pajaro Middle School completed a campus landscape overhaul during its Celebration of Trees project in October and November 2025 in partnership with Watsonville Wetlands Watch. More than 100 volunteers planted shade trees, edible gardens, and a fruit orchard across the school grounds. The project expanded green space to improve air quality and increase shaded areas for students.
