Ybarra Academy for the Arts and Technology was recently recognized for its one-of-a-kind K–8 arts integration curriculum, which teaches kids how to be creative and learn technical skills at the same time. The academy put on a musical show that included everyone in the community. It showed off the many talents of its middle and elementary school students. As these group performances show, the school wants to help students be creative and good with technology in a world that is becoming more global.
Q1. What is the main goal of the Ybarra Academy curriculum?
Ans. The school uses arts and technology in all of its classes to give students a full and up-to-date K-8 education.
Q2. Does Ybarra Academy have a middle school elective class for robotics?
Ans. Students can take specialized technology classes that focus on engineering, coding, and activities with competitive robotics teams.
Q3. How does Ybarra Academy show off the arts to the people who live there?
Ans. The school puts on seasonal shows and art galleries where students can show off their musical, theatrical, and visual arts skills.
Q4. Does Ybarra Academy offer transportation for students?
Ans. Students who live within the district's boundaries and meet certain requirements can get transportation services to and from campus safely.
Q5. What does technology do in the Ybarra Academy classrooms?
Ans. There are advanced digital tools in every classroom, and each student has their own device to work on different interactive learning projects.
