Being Updated
More kids are joining Walnut Elementary's after-school clubs, like chess and coding. The school recently held a "Community Literacy Fair" where they gave away hundreds of books to families in the area. This was to help them learn to love reading for the rest of their lives. All of the students are better prepared for college and work because they are committed to reading and doing things outside of school.
Q1. Is there a student leadership council at Walnut Elementary?
Ans. Students in higher grades can run for office to help plan events that boost school spirit and lead community service projects.
