Tice Creek School is currently showing off its 8th-grade capstone projects in the main lobby. The projects are about community service and making the world a better place. The K–8 campus recently added new lab equipment to its advanced science program to help students learn by doing and asking questions. Families are invited to come to "Innovation Night" on March 25 to see technology and art demonstrations led by students.
Q1. What are the 8th-grade capstone projects at Tice Creek School?
Ans. As a requirement for graduating from middle school, students must research and present solutions to problems related to community service and global sustainability.
Q2. What does "Innovation Night" mean at Tice Creek School?
Ans. This evening, students will show off their technology and art projects to families to show how the school uses project-based learning.
Q3. Does Tice Creek School have high-tech science tools?
Ans. The K-8 campus has up-to-date lab equipment that older students can use for hands-on learning and advanced scientific research.
Q4. What does Tice Creek School do to help students become leaders?
Ans. Middle school students can be part of the Associated Student Body to help plan events and speak for the younger grades.
Q5. What are the colors and mascot of Tice Creek School?
Ans. The Titan is the school mascot, and students wear navy blue and silver to show their pride in their school during assemblies.
