Parkmead Elementary is located at 1920 Magnolia Way in the Parkmead neighborhood. It serves 478 students in grades K-5 with a student–teacher ratio of 23:1. Math proficiency is 72% and reading proficiency is 72%. The student population features a 51% male and 49% female gender mix. The school encourages an open and helpful environment for all students. Students say that the school has enough resources to meet their needs. The environment is meant to be welcoming and helpful for all students. The administration makes sure that the campus is a safe place for all kids. This school has a modern and professional tone to help students do better in school. Every student has the chance to follow a balanced daily schedule. The cost of housing in the area is between $1,200,000 and $2,300,000. Parkmead Elementary recently held a special assembly to celebrate its high performance on the California School Dashboard. The assembly honored both students and teachers for their hard work. As part of the district's priority enrollment window for families in the area, the school is now taking applications for the 2026–2027 school year. The annual Parkmead Talent Show, which features performances by students in all grades, is one of the most exciting events coming up this spring.
