Being Updated
Bobier Elementary is currently undergoing a massive site reconstruction to build a modern 84,000-square-foot campus, with completion scheduled for 2026. The Vista Unified School Board recently hosted a "Beam Signing" celebration in early 2026 to mark a major construction milestone for the new administrative and classroom buildings. During construction, the school continues its 1:1 computing initiative, providing iPads for TK and Chromebooks for all K-5 students.
Q1. When did Bobier Elementary start taking applications for the 2025–2026 school year?
Ans. The official start date for registration for this school year was March 3, 2025. It is still open for new residents of the district.
Q2. Does the district's bus system take Bobier Elementary students to and from school?
Ans. Most of the time, eligible students who live too far away to walk to school can take the bus.
Q3. Does Bobier Elementary have any special technology for its elementary school students?
Ans. The school gives transitional kindergarten students iPads and all students in grades K through 5 their own Chromebooks.
Q4. What does Bobier Elementary do to keep its students safe while the campus is being rebuilt?
Ans. To keep students safe from active construction sites, the school has strict perimeter fencing and clear directional signs.
Q5. Are there any age-specific requirements for enrolling in kindergarten at Bobier Elementary?
Ans. Children can start kindergarten if they were born between September 2, 2019, and September 1, 2020.
