Brentwood Elementary, also known as the Brentwood School of Environmental Studies, recently received Silver status in the California PBIS statewide program for its dedication to creating a safe and supportive learning environment. The Brentwood Beautification Project is also bringing new drought-tolerant landscaping, walkways, and seating areas to the area around the school, which is helping to revitalize the neighborhood. The academy has also made its academics more flexible for the 2025–2026 school year by adding a new independent study option for TK–6th grade students. This option includes dedicated teacher support and technology provided by the district.
