About Adelanto Virtual Academy

Adelanto Virtual Academy is a public K–8 school in Victorville, California, which is a large suburb. There are about 82 students and 9 full-time equivalent teachers at the school. This means that there is one teacher for every 9 students, which is less than the district average. There are 45% female and 55% male students, and 76% of them are poor. Adelanto Virtual Academy mostly teaches through virtual and independent study formats. This lets students learn in a way that works best for them. According to state test data, only 3% of students were proficient in math and 19% were proficient in English language arts. This shows how hard it is to do well in school. The school is a good place to learn because it is small and has a lot of different students, but the academic results show that there is room for improvement. Even though there isn't any public information about how much money is spent on each student, the school follows the district's funding patterns. Adelanto Virtual Academy's small class sizes and personalized teaching style are two of the best things about it.
