Annie Pennycook Elementary is happy that 9,000 students have come back to school for the 2025–2026 school year. The school's Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Program is still going strong. It was recently called the "heartbeat" of the campus. The district's recent choice to raise the pay of substitute teachers to make sure they give good support in the classroom is also good for students and staff.

Ans. The school works with local providers to offer supervised after-school care and activities that help students learn and grow on the school grounds.
Q2. What is the official dress code for students at Annie Pennycook Elementary?
Ans. Students must wear navy blue or white tops and khaki bottoms as part of a dress code.
Q3. What are some ways for parents to help out with the Annie Pennycook Elementary Parent Teacher Avenue (PTA)?
Ans. Parents can sign up at the front desk to help with events on campus, fundraisers, and programs that help students in the classroom.
Q4. Does Annie Pennycook Elementary have a special room for music or the arts that students can use?
Ans. Yes, the school has a special multi-purpose room where students take creative arts and music lessons every week.
Q5. Does Annie Pennycook Elementary offer bilingual support services for families?
Ans. Some of the office staff speak both English and Spanish, so they can help Spanish-speaking families with translation during meetings and registration.
