Morongo Valley Elementary is currently in talks about possible school consolidations across the district because enrollment patterns are changing across the Morongo Basin. Even though these talks are going on, the school is still focused on helping students succeed and is actively enrolling new students for the 2025–2026 school year. The administration is also working with the Morongo Unified School District to put on a Back to School Resource Day, where families can get free backpacks and other school supplies.
