Being Updated
Parents of students at Joshua Tree Elementary are now signing up their "littlest learners" for the 2025–2026 school year. This is because the district's new student enrollment window has opened. The school is a big part of the "Literacy is Life" community event that will take place in early March to get people in the Morongo Basin more interested in reading. The campus also just finished the Great Kindness Challenge, where students took part in daily spirit weeks and activities that helped them learn about their feelings and how to deal with them.
Q1. Are there any local environmental programs that Joshua Tree Elementary takes part in?
Ans. Students learn about the area's unique ecosystem and wildlife by working on desert conservation projects and going on nature walks.
Q2. What time does breakfast start at Joshua Tree Elementary?
Ans. Every day, twenty minutes before the morning bell rings, the cafeteria serves a healthy breakfast.
Q3. How does Joshua Tree Elementary School talk to families who don't speak English?
Ans. The school sends out translated newsletters and has staff who can speak both languages to make sure all parents are kept up to date.
Q4. Does Joshua Tree Elementary have any drama or performing arts?
Ans. During the winter holidays, each grade level puts on a special musical or stage show for families.
Q5. Is there a garden at Joshua Tree Elementary?
Ans. Students take care of a garden with native plants to learn about desert biology and how important it is to use water wisely.
