Tulare Support School is improving its specialized educational services by giving its students new learning tools that are easier on their senses. The school recently held a "Success Celebration" to honor each student's personal and academic accomplishments. Staff members are always working to improve their skills so they can give each student the best care possible.
Q1. Does Tulare Support offer door-to-door transportation for its students?
Ans. Based on the specific needs listed in a student's individual education plan, specialized transportation is often provided.
Q2. How many students are in a typical Tulare Support classroom for each teacher?
Ans. The classes are kept very small so that each student can get a lot of help and attention.
Q3. Does Tulare Support have programs for job training or life skills?
Ans. The curriculum includes lessons on practical life skills to help older students get ready for living on their own and finding work in the future.
Q4. How does Tulare Support handle meetings between parents and teachers?
Ans. There are regular meetings to talk about how students are doing and change their individual goals with input from their parents.
Q5. Does Tulare Support offer therapeutic services like speech therapy or occupational therapy?
Ans. During the school day, the school works with specialists to offer the therapeutic services that students need right on campus.
