The meetings of the Parent Teacher Club and the School Site Council at Garden Elementary are making the community stronger during the 2024–2025 school year. The Tulare City School District is still working hard to get more preschoolers signed up so they can have a good start in life. As part of the district's "TCSD Proud" mission, students are also doing things that help them grow as people.
Q1. What are the rules for wearing hats at Garden Elementary?
Ans. You can't wear hats, caps, or bandanas inside buildings unless you have permission for a specific medical or religious reason.
Q2. Does Garden Elementary have a parent-teacher organization that is active and raises money?
Ans. The Garden Parent Teacher Club meets often to plan events and fundraisers that help students learn and grow.
Q3. What steps are being taken to keep students safe when they are dropped off at Garden Elementary?
Ans. During busy times in the morning and afternoon, the school makes sure that students are safe by using designated zones and staff monitoring.
Q4. Are there any activities at Garden Elementary that focus on science or STEM?
Ans. Students learn about science by doing experiments and are encouraged to enter their work in the district science fair each year.
Q5. Does Garden Elementary School offer mental health services on campus?
Ans. The school has a counselor and social-emotional learning tools to help students with their mental health.
