Towers Elementary is a public school in Torrance for students in grades K–5. It has about 600 students and a student–teacher ratio of about 26:1. The school's academic program focuses on reading, writing, math and higher-order thinking skills. To meet the needs of each student and help them make steady progress, teachers use data-informed instruction and small-group learning. About 79% of students are good at math and 72% are good at reading, so their academic performance is good. Towers Elementary also has enrichment activities that help kids be creative, work together and solve problems. The school community is made up of people from all over the area, and it encourages a respectful and welcoming campus culture.
