Rachel Issac, a student at Madrona Middle, took part in the International Academic Competitions in late January 2026. She won a silver medal in the Regional Science Bee and a bronze medal in the Regional History Bee. The regional event happened in January 2026, and her combined scores qualified her for the National level competition, which will happen in May. Madrona Middle School was one of the schools that competed in the upcoming national academic contests because of her progress.
