For the current school year, Weathersfield Elementary has put into place the new CVUSD Board Policy about mobile phones and other communication devices. K-Kids is helping the school raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Families are encouraged to sign up for the Neighborhood Forest program to get a free tree and to keep up with what's going on through the school's active Instagram accounts.

Ans. Yes, the school has a library with a lot of books that students can check out and do research in once a week.
Q2. What is the "K-Kids" club at Weathersfield Elementary?
Ans. The local Kiwanis Club sponsors this student-led service group that focuses on community service and leadership.
Q3. Does Weathersfield Elementary have teachers who specialize in physical education?
Ans. Yes, certified physical education teachers teach structured lessons on fitness, motor skills, and sportsmanship to students of all grades.
Q4. Is there a program for gifted and talented (GATE) students at Weathersfield Elementary?
Ans. The school offers different types of instruction in the classroom to challenge students who have been identified through the district's GATE testing.
Q5. How do the kids at Weathersfield Elementary celebrate their birthdays in class?
Ans. The school has a no-food celebration policy to keep all students safe and included, even those with special dietary needs.
