The school's PTA is working hard to get people to buy "Birthday Grams" and "Farm Fresh To You" to help pay for school programs and encourage healthy eating. The school is taking part in the "Acorns for Education" program at The Oaks Mall to get school grants. They have also released new uniforms and spirit wear.
Q1. Do the students take care of a school garden at Madrona Elementary?
Ans. Yes, the school has a community garden where students learn about biology and healthy eating by planting things.
Q2. What does the "Mustang" mascot do to get Madrona Elementary students excited about school?
Ans. The mascot is used in weekly spirit assemblies and on school clothes to make people feel proud and united.
Q3. Does Madrona Elementary School help its students with their mental health?
Ans. There are school counselors and district psychologists who work part-time and are there to help students with their social and emotional needs.
Q4. Do students at Madrona Elementary have any chances to perform music?
Ans. Every year, students in each grade level put on a musical performance. In fourth and fifth grades, they can also join the choir or band.
Q5. What can parents do to keep up with what's going on at Madrona Elementary every day?
