About BRIDGES Charter

BRIDGES Charter is located at 1335 West Calle Conejo in the Newbury Park area. It serves 408 students in grades K-8. The student–teacher ratio is 23:1. Math proficiency is 49% and reading proficiency is 62%. The gender mix consists of 51% female and 49% male students. The campus is meant to be a welcoming and community-focused place for students of all ages. The school is all about letting students learn on their own and work together in groups in the classroom. To make sure everyone is on the same page, school administrators stress how important it is for families to be involved in their children's education. The curriculum is made to meet state standards while still allowing for different ways of teaching. Most homes in the area are worth between $800,000 and $1,250,000. Parents often say good things about the school because it helps their kids feel like they belong and be independent. This school is working hard to be one of the best elementary schools in California by putting the growth of the whole child and social skills first.
