As of November 3, 2025, Acacia Magnet School for Enriched Learning is now taking applications for the 2026–2027 school year. To control the use of mobile devices on campus, the school has put in place a new "Mobile Communication Devices" policy for the 2025–2026 school year. Families can also set up tours of the school to see the unique Schoolwide Enrichment Model.
Q1. Does Acacia Magnet School for Enriched Learning have a special program for working parents to take care of their kids before school?
Ans. Yes, the CVUSD Breakaway program at the school provides childcare services to help families who need someone to watch their kids in the morning.
Q2. Do students at Acacia Magnet School for Enriched Learning have to follow a certain dress code?
Ans. Instead of a strict formal uniform, students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that are appropriate for school and follow the district's general rules.
Q3. What does Acacia Magnet School for Enriched Learning do to help students with special dietary needs get lunch?
Ans. The cafeteria offers a variety of meal choices and works with the school nurse to make sure that students with known food allergies can eat.
Q4. Does Acacia Magnet School for Enriched Learning have sports teams for fifth graders to join outside of school?
Ans. Students can play a lot of sports after school, but the main ones are intramural. The local recreation district also hosts a number of athletic clinics.
Q5. Are parents able to volunteer for the Acacia Magnet School for Enriched Learning's school site council?
Ans. Parents are encouraged to apply for council positions so they can help make decisions about the school's improvement plan.
