In late 2025, high school peer mentors led an inspiring "Be the One" assembly at Pauba Valley Elementary to promote teamwork and kindness. The school has begun early registration for the 2026–2027 Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program to welcome the youngest students in the community. Families now get weekly newsletters that give direct updates on student-led projects and upcoming events on campus.
Q1. What does the "Pilots" mascot mean at Pauba Valley Elementary?
Ans. The mascot represents the students' journey of flight toward academic discovery and reaching new heights in their education.
Q2. Are there any peer mentorship programs at Pauba Valley Elementary where older students help younger ones?
Ans. The school has "Be the One" assemblies where high school mentors come to talk about being nice and working together on campus.
Q3. What does Pauba Valley Elementary do each month to honor the good character traits of its students?
A: Every month, "Pilot Assemblies" are held to honor students who have learned the school's main character value.
Q4. Does Pauba Valley Elementary School have any educational nature walks?
Ans. Because of where it is, teachers lead supervised walks to look at the plants and animals in the area as part of the science curriculum.
Q5. Does Pauba Valley Elementary have a special breakfast service in the morning?
Ans. Every day, the school cafeteria serves a healthy breakfast to all students starting twenty minutes before the first bell.
