The local PTA helped Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary School throw a special community event to celebrate the graduation of its "Class of 2025." The school recently started airing its "Jackson News" broadcast series for 2025-2026 to keep students and parents up to date on what's going on at school. It is still one of the best schools in the area for getting kids ready for middle and high school.
Q1. Does Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary use a certain digital platform to keep track of student resources?
Ans. The school uses the Clever K-12 portal to let students log in to all of their curriculum tools with just one account.
Q2. What are the main ideas behind the "Jackson Way" at Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary?
Ans. The school uses six pillars to help students behave: Scholarship, Passion, Integrity, Reflection, Involvement, and Teamwork.
Q3. How does Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary help new Transitional Kindergarten students get used to school?
Ans. "Come Learn & Play" events are held on campus so that new TK students can check out classrooms before the school year starts.
Q4. Is there a student-run broadcasting program at Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary?
Ans. The "Jackson News" broadcast series is made by students to keep everyone at the school up to date on what's happening on campus and what's coming up.
Q5. What kind of safety technology does Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary use to screen visitors?
Ans. The Raptor Visitor Management System is used by the front office to scan IDs and make the campus safer for all visitors.
