The district's recent acceptance into a major national network of innovative school districts is still helping Ellis Elementary. The school is currently promoting African American History Month through a resolution passed by the Board to integrate truthful history into the curriculum. Parents are also welcome to join the next "Coffee with the Principal" sessions to talk about the school's goals.
