It is one of 13 high schools in the Stockton Unified School District and is known for being one of the best because it focuses on law, justice, and public service. The academy has a 100% Advanced Placement® participation rate, which makes it one of the best schools in the area. The student body is made up of people from many different backgrounds. 94% of students are minorities, and 59% are economically disadvantaged. The students do very well in school, with a 96% reading proficiency rate and a 37% math proficiency rate. Pacific Law Academy has a student-to-teacher ratio of about 22:1 and spends about $14,000 per student. This makes it a small, college-preparatory school. The Pacific Law Academy is still doing great work. The Class of 2025 has been accepted to some of the best schools in the country, such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, and the University of the Pacific. Students are getting involved in new academic projects, such as the 2026 University of the Pacific Law Review Symposium, where they discuss difficult legal issues with experts from the university. The school also keeps its high level of college readiness by making sure that all of its students can take Advanced Placement classes and tests.
