August Elementary School in Stockton, California, wants all of its students to be ready for college, a career, and their community when they graduate. This will help lift young people out of poverty and lack. The school is dedicated to making things better all the time and focuses on both academic success and social and emotional learning. August Elementary is one of the schools in the Stockton Unified School District that works to give students a full educational experience. The district is working on a Facilities Master Plan to better support students and improve the places where they learn.
