Being Updated
Victoria Avenue Elementary is showing off its integrated technology programs that give all K–5 students access to their own devices. The school changed its visitor policy not long ago to make the school a safer and more supportive place for students. Families are welcome to come to the next "Open House" to see the portfolios of the students and meet the teachers.
Q1. Does Victoria Avenue Elementary have a separate room for music?
Ans. Every year, students can learn about instruments, rhythm, and different types of music in a music room on campus.
Q2. What does Victoria Avenue Elementary do with lost things like lunchboxes and jackets?
Ans. There is a designated lost and found bin on campus where students and parents can look for lost items.
Q3. Does Victoria Avenue Elementary have any coding or robotics classes?
Ans. The school's technology curriculum and a number of STEM-related after-school enrichment programs may give students the chance to try out some basic coding.
Q4. Do families who are thinking about enrolling their children at Victoria Avenue Elementary School get to tour the school?
Ans. Parents who want to learn more about the school's academic programs and facilities can call the main office to set up a tour.
Q5. What is Victoria Avenue Elementary's policy on healthy snacks?
Ans. The school wants parents to give their kids healthy snacks and not snacks with a lot of sugar to help them reach their health goals.
