State Street Elementary is getting ready for a change in leadership. The new principal is expected to be named for the 2025–2026 school year. The school just finished a successful "Holiday Spirit Week" and is now moving on to its spring academic goals. Parents should check the official news page for news about improvements to campus facilities that are coming up.
Q1. Is there a Gifted and Talented Education program at State Street Elementary?
Ans. Ans. The school picks out students who can join the GATE program and gives them different kinds of lessons to help them learn more quickly.
Q2. What are the rules for visitors at State Street Elementary?
Ans. Visitors must check in at the front desk and wear a visitor's badge while they are on campus.
Q3. Does State Street Elementary have gym class every day?
Ans. Students take part in planned physical education classes that teach them motor skills, how to work together, and how to make exercise a regular part of their lives.
Q4. What does State Street Elementary do to help students with special needs?
Ans. The school offers a variety of Special Education services and individualized education plans to help each student do well.
Q5. Can students at State Street Elementary run for student government?
Ans. Upper elementary school students can run for student council to help plan school events and speak up for their classmates' interests.
