The Parent/Guardian School Experience Survey for the 2025–2026 school year is now open at Madison Elementary. Principal Luis Baez still holds "Coffee with the Principal" meetings to talk about ways to make the school better and keep students safe. The school is also getting ready for its spring tests and wants students to come to school every day to make sure they are ready.
Q1. Does Madison Elementary offer any after-school clubs for students?
Ans. Various clubs focusing on arts, science, and leadership are offered periodically based on student interest and staff availability throughout.
Q2. How does Madison Elementary handle emergency drills for students?
Ans. The school conducts regular fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills to ensure all students and staff are prepared for emergencies.
Q3. Can students bring their own lunch to Madison Elementary?
Ans. Students are welcome to bring healthy lunches from home if they choose not to eat the provided cafeteria meals.
Q4. Does Madison Elementary have a school nurse on campus?
Ans. A health office is available to provide basic first aid and manage student medication during the regular school day.
Q5. How can I enroll a new student at Madison Elementary?
Ans. Enrollment can be completed online through the LAUSD enrollment portal or by visiting the school's main office directly.
