Justin Elementary is adding more early childhood programs with the help of the Justin Early Learners Academy, which now has three TK classes. The school is part of a district-wide effort to offer Universal Transitional Kindergarten to all four-year-olds who meet the requirements. There will be a lot of events this semester to bring people together and workshops for parents and teachers that focus on early literacy.
Q1. What special programs does the Justin Elementary Early Learners Academy have?
Ans. The academy takes care of babies up to five years old and has both general education and specialized preschool programs on site.
Q2. Is there a garden at Justin Elementary that students can use?
Ans. There are special outdoor play areas and sensory gardens on campus that are made just for young children to help them grow and learn.
Q3. How does Justin Elementary let families know about their child's medical needs?
Ans. Every year, the Aeries Parent Portal must be used to update all of the students' health and medication information.
Q4. Does Justin Elementary hold any family literacy nights?
Ans. The school puts on interactive literacy events where parents can learn how to help their kids read better at home.
Q5. Is it possible for people in the community to read to students at Justin Elementary?
Ans. Yes, volunteers who have been approved can take part in reading programs after passing a standard district background check and safety training.
