Eric White Elementary recently won a "Gold Level" PBIS award for its strong commitment to making the school a safe and very positive place to be. The school successfully held its annual Science and Engineering Fair, where students' projects showed a lot of creativity and critical thinking. The campus is also celebrating its new status as a Leader In Me school. This program helps students become great leaders in the future.
Q1. What is Eric White Elementary's policy for birthday parties?
Ans. Parents need to talk to teachers ahead of time, and they are encouraged to bring things other than food to the classroom to celebrate.
Q2. Is there a school nurse at Eric White Elementary?
Ans. A health professional is on hand every day to give students their medications and basic first aid for small injuries on the playground.
Q3. What do the emergency drills look like at Eric White Elementary?
Ans. The school does regular fire and safety drills to make sure that all students and staff are ready for any emergency.
Q4. Is there a transitional kindergarten class at Eric White Elementary?
Ans. The campus has a special program to help young students learn basic skills before they start regular kindergarten.
Q5. Does Eric White Elementary have music classes?
Ans. Students take vocal or instrumental music lessons once a week to improve their artistic skills and learn to love the arts.
