Recent student-led performances and creative projects in the classroom at Sunridge Charter School are examples of its one-of-a-kind Waldorf education model. The Twin Hills district and the school administration are currently working together to finish the school year calendar and the schedule of spring events for the 2025–2026 school year. In the next few weeks, families are asked to help keep the outdoor learning and play areas in good shape by volunteering on campus.
Q1. Does Sunridge Charter School have a full-day kindergarten program for its students?
Ans. The school has a developmental kindergarten program that follows a specific Waldorf-based schedule to help students grow early on.
Q2. What are the rules about what students at Sunridge Charter School should wear every day?
Ans. Students are encouraged to wear simple clothes that don't have big media characters on them to help them focus on learning.
Q3. How can parents find out about what's going on at Sunridge Charter School every week?
Ans. The administration sends out a digital weekly newsletter with important dates, news about festivals, and reminders about schoolwork for all students.
Q4. Is there an active parent council at Sunridge Charter School that helps run the school?
Ans. Parents are encouraged to join the Charter Council and other groups to help the school with its unique mission.
Q5. Does Sunridge Charter School have any programs for outdoor education or wilderness?
Ans. Students do outdoor activities and field trips on a regular basis that help them feel deeply connected to the area they live in.
