Rosedell Elementary School recently held a heartwarming breakfast for honored guests to honor the good role models in our students' lives. The school is currently celebrating a rise in daily attendance rates thanks to a district-wide campaign called "Every Day Counts." The Rosedell Roadrunners are also working hard to get ready for the Santa Clarita track meet. They are focusing on working together and reaching their own fitness goals.
Q1. Is there a "Back to School" night at Rosedell Elementary?
Ans. This yearly event in early September invites families to meet teachers and find out what is expected in the classroom.
Q2. What are the rules for cell phones at Rosedell Elementary?
Ans. To keep the learning environment focused and free of distractions every day, students' devices must stay off and be kept in their backpacks.
Q3. Is there a parent-teacher association at Rosedell Elementary?
Ans. There is a parent group at the school that meets once a month to plan fundraisers and help with different activities that help students learn more.
Q4. How does Rosedell Elementary know when students are not in class?
Ans. Parents need to call the attendance line or send a signed note to the office to let their child miss school.
Q5. Does Rosedell Elementary have a list of books to read over the summer?
Ans. To help students keep up their reading skills over the break, the school recommends certain books for each grade level.
