Mountainview Elementary recently held a successful Career Day with local professionals to get students excited about future jobs in the arts and technology. The school was proud to have received the PBIS Gold Medal for keeping a safe and very positive school culture for all students. The campus is also currently promoting its annual talent show, which will show off the many creative talents of its young Mountain Lions.
Q1. What are the rules for dropping off kids in the morning at Mountainview Elementary?
Ans. Parents should stay in the right lane and follow the traffic flow to keep students safe when they arrive in the morning.
Q2. Are there any gardening or nature clubs at Mountainview Elementary?
Ans. The school has a small garden on the property where students learn about biology and taking care of the environment by planting things.
Q3. What do you do to stop bullying at Mountainview Elementary?
Ans. The administration enforces a strict anti-bullying policy and teaches students how to be good people to make the school a safe and respectful place to be.
Q4. Is there a summer bridge program at Mountainview Elementary?
Ans. The district has a short summer session for students who qualify so they can keep up their schoolwork during the long break.
Q5. What is Mountainview Elementary's policy on lost and found items?
Ans. Parents can pick up jackets and lunchboxes that haven't been claimed from a central bin before they are donated each semester.
