The California PBIS Gold Implementation Award has been awarded to Blue Hills Elementary School for their accomplishments in developing a positive, student-centered campus culture. This award was presented to Blue Hills during a CUSD Board Meeting on September 25, 2025. Blue Hills has also been mentioned in many district Community Updates about their participation in the Districts Run for Great Schools Initiative; this event helps to keep families connected to each other and their student’s well-being as part of a healthy community.

Ans. Students are offered enrichment classes in the areas of art, music, physical education, and different clubs as well as participation in learning activities to support their development outside academics.

Ans. The school typically implements a structured onboarding process that includes classroom integration, orientation, and ongoing support to assist new students in adjusting to the school community over the first few weeks.

Ans. Most of the schools in our district provide after-school programming in partnership with third-party vendors to help families with working parents find additional supervision during non-school hours.
