The Santee Success Program remains as an option for K - 8 students who want to work independently and on their own through out the Santee School District. The Santee Success Program provides students with both virtual and in-person instruction to support their completion of the district's curriculum standards. Starting in 2024, the district will continue to monitor student progress and student performance to ensure that students stay engaged in their alternative learning path.
Q1. What is the learning environment at the Santee Success Program?
Ans. The program offers a highly individualised learning environment with focused academic support for each student.
Q2. How does the program support independent learning?
Ans. Students follow the district curriculum while receiving structured guidance from teachers, allowing for flexible learning progress.
Q3. How do families participate in the learning process?
Ans. Families stay in regular contact with school staff to monitor progress and support learning at home.
Q4. Does the program follow the same academic standards as other district schools?
Ans. Yes. The program follows Santee School District curriculum standards for K–8 students.
Q5. How is the Santee Success Program different from other K–8 schools?
Ans. The program serves a very small number of students, allowing more personalised instruction.
