In promoting the positive environment for learning for its students continues to promote positive and engaging learning environment for their kids. The school is led by the principal of Carlton Hills, Tim Dobbins, who was recently recognized in late October 2024 for his commitment to educating and developing children in the communities around Santee, California. In order to facilitate the learning and growth of their children, the school uses an engaging and interactive style of teaching along with a community-centered approach that fosters the development of both academic success and the welfare of students. The staff at the school work closely with the parents from the community and the local agencies in order to provide a positive and encouraging atmosphere for children to participate in and develop during the school year.
