The address of Village Charter is 1250 West 9th Street in Santa Rosa. There are 115 students in grades K–6 at the school. The student-teacher ratio is 15:1. 55% of students are good at math and 65% are good at reading. There are 45% female and 55% male in the group. The campus has small classrooms that focus on social and emotional health. The very low student-teacher ratio makes it possible to give each student one-on-one instruction and keep track of their progress in a way that has never been done before. A "family-style" learning environment is good for students because everyone knows each other and wants everyone to do well. The curriculum is very flexible, so teachers can go into great detail about topics that interest their students. The school year includes regular field trips and guest speakers to bring the outside world into the small classroom. The school has such high proficiency scores in all grades because it takes this close and focused approach. The prices of homes in this area range from $520,000 to $740,000. Families have a lot of faith in the school's staff and the way things are in the community. This school wants to be one of the best elementary schools in California. The West End neighborhood is an old part of Santa Rosa that has become very popular lately because of its charm and character. Many of the homes have interesting architectural details and are on quiet, walkable streets. People like living in a community that values art, history, and social connections. The Village Charter school's small size is perfect for the neighborhood's need for a personalized and high-quality education. The West End is a top choice for picky buyers because it has both historic charm and high academic standards.
