Spring Lake Charter awarded a 2025 grant for Environmental Science exploration, allowing students to participate in off-site nature research projects.
Q1. What inquiry-based science project are the students in 2025 leading?
Ans. Students are currently using advanced soil and water sensors to look into how local drought conditions affect biodiversity in the area.
Q2: How does the 2025 charter model give students more freedom?
Ans: Upper-grade students create their own "Minis" electives, which let them teach their classmates things like photography, coding, or gardening.
Q3. What special 2025 fitness program is offered on-site?
Ans. The "Laker Athletics" program is all about fitness challenges that aren't competitive and that help people reach their health goals and build healthy habits for life.
Q4. How do you keep track of and encourage parents to get involved in 2025?
Ans. The school has a "Charter Participation App" that makes it easier for volunteers to sign up for events on campus and special projects in the classroom.
Q5. What is the theme for the annual spring exhibition in 2025?
Ans. The "Innovation Fair" asks students to come up with useful inventions that help with common environmental problems in Santa Rosa.
