Bellevue Elementary successfully renewed its COOL School partnership for the 2025-26 year, ensuring no-cost STEM and arts enrichment for all students.
Q1. What are the "Red-Tailed Hawk" environmental studies going to be about in 2025?
Ans. Students work with a nearby nature center to keep an eye on and report on how birds migrate in their area.
Q2. Are there any new bilingual support groups for families who speak Spanish this year?
Ans. A new program called "Enlace Familiar" offers parents translation services and support meetings.
Q3. How is the school making mindfulness a part of the daily schedule for 2025?
Ans. The school had "Mindful Minutes" every day, which were calm music and breathing exercises before the morning announcements.
Q4. What new healthy eating program will be in place in the cafeteria in 2025?
Ans. Twice a week, the "Garden Fresh" program uses food from the school garden in school lunches.
Q5. What new P.E. program was started for the 2025–2026 school year?
Ans. The "Fit Hawks" program asks students to use pedometers provided by the district to keep track of their physical activity every week.
