To improve student support services, Grace Thille Elementary opened its new Wellness Center and Library in February 2026. The school also recently gave "Tigers" in 4th to 6th grade honor roll certificates for their good grades and positive attitudes. Principal Betsey Chavez still wants parents to come to school-wide orientation sessions for the 2026 school year.
Q1. Does Grace Thille Elementary School have a music program for older students?
Ans. Students in grades four and five can take instrumental music lessons during school hours once a week.
Q2. What are the rules for parents who want to watch a class at Grace Thille Elementary School?
Ans. Visitors need to make plans to see things at least 24 hours in advance and check in at the front office with a valid ID.
Q3. What does Grace Thille Elementary School do to keep students safe when it rains?
Ans: When the weather is bad, students stay in the cafeteria or their classrooms with staff members for lunch and recess.
Q4. Does Grace Thille Elementary School have any outdoor learning spaces or gardening projects?
Ans. The campus has a student garden where students can learn about plant life cycles and environmental science by doing things.
Q5. How can parents become members of the Grace Thille Elementary School English Learner Advisory Committee?
Ans. Every three months, there are meetings, and any parent of an English learner is welcome to come and give feedback on the program.
