As part of its board-approved student achievement goals, Montague Elementary is working on a high-impact academic plan for 2025–2026. The school recently held workshops for families on how to help their kids have safe relationships in early 2026. Faculty members are getting ready for the 2026 NFL Play Football community festival, which will get people in the area involved.
Q1. Does Montague Elementary School have any special world language or cultural studies classes for kids in grades K–5?
Ans. The school celebrates the different backgrounds of all its students by including global awareness and cultural studies in the social studies curriculum.
Q2. What is the official way for parents at Montague Elementary School to set up a meeting with their child's teacher?
Ans. Parents can set up meetings with the teacher by emailing them or calling the school office. They can also do this during the teacher's office hours.
Q3. What does Montague Elementary School do to meet the fitness and physical education needs of its students in 2026?
Ans. Students take regular physical education classes with trained teachers who teach them about motor skills, working together, and living a healthy life.
Q4. What safety rules does Montague Elementary School have for students who walk or bike to school every day?
Ans. The school is part of the "Safe Routes to School" program and has assigned monitors to make sure that students get to and from school safely.
Q5. Does Montague Elementary School give students a chance to take part in competitive academic events like math olympiads?
Ans. Students who do well in school are encouraged to take part in district-wide academic competitions and challenges that help them improve their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
