In June 2025, La Cumbre Junior High was one of four district schools that got a piece of a $4.5 million grant from the California Community Schools Partnership Program. The money will be used over five years to pay for more student services and community involvement programs. The grant puts La Cumbre Junior High in a state-funded program that brings together academic, social, and community resources on campus.
