Country Club Elementary is a public K–5 school in San Ramon, California, enrolling approximately 514 students. The ratio of students to teachers is about 22 to 1, which means that the classrooms are not too big and the academic programs are well-structured. The school community is diverse, which is in line with San Ramon's multicultural population. According to academic data, about 71% of students are good at math and about 74% are good at reading. Within a standards-based curriculum, the school focuses on basic reading and writing skills, math fluency and using technology in the classroom. Country Club Elementary students are part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. They get to take part in district-wide events like the Science Olympiad, a STEM competition that gets 4th and 5th graders thinking critically and doing hands-on science activities.
