Bayview Elementary is proud to be a California Distinguished School because it has done such a good job of closing the achievement gap. The school recently had a "Family Literacy Night" that went well. Parents and kids read and told stories together. Everyone still respects each other and has high academic standards, which makes the community a great place to learn.
