San Elijo Elementary families are preparing for the district-wide Spring Recess scheduled from March 30 to April 3, 2026 San Elijo Elementary. The school is highlighted as a primary location for the Kids On Campus (KOC) spring camp, which provides STEM and maker-space projects for students SMUSD News. Enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year officially opened this February for all current and new transfer students in the area.

Ans. The school provides maker-space projects and STEM-based learning sessions through the Kids On Campus program during seasonal breaks.

Ans. Teachers provide grade-appropriate tasks that focus on reading and math fluency to reinforce the concepts taught in the classroom.
Q3. Does San Elijo Elementary have a student-run broadcast or news station?
Ans. Fifth-grade students produce a morning news show that is streamed to classrooms to keep the student body well informed.
Q4. How does San Elijo Elementary manage the morning valet for students?
Ans. A team of staff and parent volunteers ensures that students are safely assisted from their vehicles during morning drop-off.
Q5. Are there any community-funded programs at San Elijo Elementary?
Ans. The PTO raises funds to provide additional specialists in physical education and fine arts for all grade levels on campus.
