As of 2026, Hawthorne Elementary is in the middle of a project to modernize the whole campus. Recent changes include better systems, better facilities for students, and improvements to the main school building. Classrooms for younger students have also been improved to make learning easier every day. There is also work being done to make it easier to get to the front of the school. These changes are part of a bigger plan to make the campus a better place to be. The project is part of ongoing efforts to give students a more modern and helpful place to learn.
