Stipe (Samuel) Elementary in San Jose, California, is getting ready for a great winter break! As the school year comes to an end, students and staff are looking forward to a break from school. The school is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where students can do well in school and in life. It does this by focusing on STEAM education and project-based learning.
Stipe Elementary meets with parent groups once a month, such as the Hispanic Parent, Vietnamese Parent, and Parent Faculty Association, to keep them up to date on what their kids are learning and what's going on at the school. The school also holds a number of family-friendly events, like Harvest Festival, Las Posadas, and Family Movie Nights, to get people involved in the community.
