A big change is coming to McKinley Elementary School in San Jose, California. The Franklin-McKinley School District has decided to close the school because it doesn't have enough money to run it and fewer students are signing up. Even though this is hard, the community is still strong because they know that the school is committed to making a safe place for students to learn and grow.

The school is known for having a strong sense of community. Events like Multicultural Day and Family Movie Night bring students, parents, and teachers together. McKinley Elementary wants to help kids become well-rounded people by teaching them good values and character traits. The district is moving operations to other schools to help students make the transition easier. The community's strength and dedication will definitely help students deal with this change.
